daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? I have noticed many of my own short comings lately. I don't pray as often as I used to. I don't get away to talk to God like I used to. My heart has hardened a tad for certain things. I repent and I am sorry. It happens slowly so we don't notice. Life deals some blows and we put up a protective shield so we are insulated. Even if it is a little bit it can grow way to thick to the point nothing comes through and our compassion wanes. Are you in that condition? Know what else is dangerous in this condition? False doctrine can creep in here and there disguised around comfort. One can be so distracted by outside happenings that one moves their eyes, not on purpose mind you, to dealing with things and before they know it their prayer life suffers. Not that they want it to let up on their praying but things get assumed and the relationship suffers. My God has carried me and mine many many times and I am so aware of that  but it's like outside things compress all the stuff in our heads to where we have to search for that connection instead of it being in the fore front. Are you in this state? Do you need help reconnecting? Stop what you are doing. Go for a walk without headphones. Pray. Talk to God. Reestablish that connection. He's right where he's always been.

1Ch 16:11
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

2Ch 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Psa 10:17
LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

Mat 7:7-8
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Rom 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

remember the lost...

Heavenly Father,
Forgive our sins. Cleans us from all unrigthteousness. Guide our eyes to the things of yours. Grant us the wisdom to recognise the enemies ploys. We rebuke in Jesus name satan and his minion from our minds. Open our eyes to the needy. Teach us to pray. In Jesus name, amen
