Good morning! How are we faithing? Man is it ever cold here! Check on the shut ins and old folks! My bride and I have experienced many things and this week end we talked about many and I learned much. In discussing how we feel and what thought process goes on I started thinking about where I have made not so good choices in the past and why I made those choices. I have found as I study the Word of God more I screw up less. I ain't better or holier than anyone else mind you but I find that as I take in the Word more it reflects and infects my mind which rolls into behavior modifications. I realized also that if I were reading porn or injecting my mind with bad TV and movies or lewd conversation, that would reflect in my behavior too. The Word says that out of the heart we speak who we are. Ever known someone that claims Jesus and the next minute they are speaking vile things? Makes me wonder where they are spiritually and what are they allowing or not allowing into their brain. It's one thing to speak words of redemption, it's another to see evidence of that redemption. This year why not start off on a good note. Why not seek truth. Don't say,"I'm a gonna read my entire Bible this year" or "I'm a gonna stop cussin this year". Let me urge you to read the Word daily, turn on Christian radio more. Watch less crappy TV, pursue God with the attitude of getting to know our savior.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Heavenly Father,
Help us to pursue you. Help us to cultivate a mind like yours. Grant us wisdom and courage to see truth. To see needs. To see that without you we are doomed. Lord we lift up the lost to you. Open the eyes of their hearts to your grace and love. Let them understand the gift of pardon you offer. In Jesus name, amen
