     Good morning! How are we faithing? Sin is seductive. Sin is fun. Sin is also perverted. Everything God made satan perverts. You like something on this orb? Satan will pervert it. How does drag racing get perverted? Simply by becoming so consuming it becomes an idol. That goes for anything else in your life that goes from a passion, perverted to an addiction, then becomes all consuming, thus an idol. Nothing is more important than that idol. You say ,"no, it just what I do". Pigeon pellets. The enemy cannot create anything so he and his minion have to pervert whats here. Our free choice is evident and satan can't control your or my free choice. He makes things desirable but we make the choice. I had someone ask why we have to pay for the sins of Adam so without getting long winded let me explain. When Adam sinned he died . His spirit became dead. Mankind can only produce mankind. Man cannot produce any other creature so his off spring were born spiritually dead but thank God for a redemptive path and a gift of pardon through God's son, Jesus the Christ where we can be born again. When we make a choice to allow something to become more important or twist something into what it wasn't designed to be when God made it we step out of Gods plan and fall, just like Adam did. OK, lets look at something that was designed so extraordinary but has become so perverted. Satan didn't make sex but he sure perverted it. Sex was designed for glorious purposes but look at all the pedophilia and stuff like that. Now where did that come from? Did satan create sex? No, he twisted it all up and people chose to act in an ungodly manner. How about hunting? We hunt to eat and survive. How does killing anything that moves a wise thing to do? Someones heart is hard. Just pause and look at what you do and see if it is in line with Godly wisdom or has it become twisted from what it originally was...


Jas 4:1-7
  From where do wars and fightings among you come? Is it not from this, from your lusts which war in your members?  You desire, and do not have. You murder, and are jealous, and cannot obtain. You fight and war, yet you have not because you ask not. You ask and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it upon your lusts. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.  Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us yearns to envy?  But He gives more grace. Therefore He says, God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.   Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Heavenly Father,
   Thank you for the gift of pardon. Thank you for your Word. Help us keep perspective of our desires. Help us act holy and think holy. We ask for courage and wisdom. Bless those who are sick. Touch them and let them know you love them. In Jesus name, amen
