daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Remembering committed sins is only necessary for repentance and non repeating. When we confess our sins to our Lord it's about changing our minds to what God wants and an actual sorrow for doing them. Man, it's hard sometimes in the flesh not to sin. Sins of lust, sins of anger, sins of pride, sins of selfishness all lead us away from God. Our savior gave us a way to get forgiveness and a way to live more upright because if not for our savior, we all would be doomed. Society as of late gets all upset when anyone brings up the sins listed in the Word of God and simply put it is because they still want to indulge in them. They think if they make the God rhetoric go away they will be able to continue when in truth all doing away with God's truth will do is make them go to hell forgetting where they are going. By no means am I pointing fingers but in love giving a warning because God doesn't wish anyone should perish but he gave us free choice so if you choose life without God, you'll get your wish. Bad things happen and people blame God or say "where is God?". They have missed it completely. Our sinful nature and our choices are our responsibility, not Gods. God gives us reprieve and if we are too stubborn to recognize and take advantage of that reprieve we have no one to blame but ourselves. Take the time this week to speak with our Lord. Ask him to reveal himself to you. Ask him for wisdom to discern whether circumstances are self made of the enemy coming at you. Ask him to forgive your sins. Ask him to open your eyes to what is before you. Ask him for the courage to trust him and the strength to follow his ways over your own.

2Co 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Isa 60:1-2
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that teaches us. Thank you for salvation that saves us and thank you for your son who gave all for us. Lord we ask for clarity and courage to see what you have for us this day. We praise and honor your name Lord, keep us healthy and aware. In Jesus name, amen
