daily prayer

     Good morning! How are we faithing? Lots of people talk of the power of satan and how his deception has led them so far away from God. I think much more power is given to our enemy than he actually has. Truth be told the sin you or I get caught up in is simple alluring to our carnal desires in the beginning, then it becomes addiction which without God we cannot escape the pull or the staying power of it. The power isn't the devils but our own . The enemy tempts, we grab a hold and do. I have heard some guys say, "how can I not give in? Don't say you wouldn't."  Well you can resist and yes I am guilty of abstaining but I am also guilty of succumbing to temptation. Here's the wonderful thing, my savior lives. My savior forgives. My savior gives me power to resist. The Holy Spirit opens my mind to recognize the remifications of giving in. This faith is not a bunch of do's and don'ts so much as a warning and encouragement as to what will happen if we do or don't. Many think they will have to give up their favorite thing therefore they refuse to even listen to God but I'm here to tell you that I care not what your sin is because I have sin and I am redeemed. God will deal with you as necessary and my job is to present Christ in love. My job is to love like Christ loves. I may deplore what you are doing but I never ever judge or hate you for it because I am forgiven for my sins and the level of your sin and my sin is the same. With that in mind I know;

2Ti 4:8
 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

This is what we must do;

2Ti 4:1-4
  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Heavenly Father,
  Thank you for your Word. Thank you for forgiving me all my sins and cleansing me from unrighteousness. Please come into the hearts of the lost we run into. Let them see the wonder of your salvation and not our shortcomings. Let them see your truth even if we mess up the message. Grant us wisdom and courage to trust in you completely, in Jesus name, amen
