daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Sometimes we want to be left alone and some times we yearn for companionship. A touch from a loved one does more than words many times. A good listener many times turns away wrath. Many times have I run into someone spitting foul words all the while listening to the words and hearing the emotion only to find out I wasn't what got them stirred up. Many times people just need to know somewhat else gives a hoot about them. I had a conversation with a man and by listening close I could hear his love for his family and his disdain for those who came against him in his life. It was very revealing and I was convinced again to not form an opinion about someone by observance alone. I also am convinced again not to correct them because I ain't the judge or the one who is suppose to fix others language etc. God is. Could you imagine the scuttle butt about Jesus when he walked this earth? He doesn't condemn adulterers but he frees the possessed. He turns tables over in the synagogue but loves on the tax collectors. He speaks against the scholars of his time all the while speaking of forgiveness and blessings and then to show it, feeds them all. 5000. 4000. And even when they kill him he forgives them.  An we have fits when an unbeliever cusses? I'm thinking that is putting the cart before the horse. Jesus went out where the lost were. Jesus was compassionate. Jesus told the truth always and he even shut up it seems when speaking profited no one. Jesus offers life and when someone takes that life only then do the things of death fall away. Hmmm...

Num 23:19-20
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

 Joh 10:24-30
Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the love you have for such a bunch of people like us. Lord, forgive us when we goof up. Forgive us when we act plain stupid. Open our eyes to your truths. Bless those mentioned. Give them an awesome glimpse of your face. In Jesus name, amen
