Good morning! How are we faithing? eee gads...70 yesterday, wake to snow on the ground this morning. Fell asleep on the couch watching Forrest Gump, wake an hour late. Dream about preaching to street people in a run down neighborhood by a river and there was a festival of some sort at the park by the river. People everywhere. Blood moon last night too. First of four. Passover. I worry about my bride. I pray for her and others. Waiting. Watching. Thinking all the time. Wonder about things, not so much as to the what ifs but what is and is to come. I hear people stress over things in their own heads that the majority of time never come true. They anticipate the wildest awfullest things and for what? Nothing. They end up with fear and trepidation over stuff that doesn't even have reality in them. Man, I understand how weird our minds can work because I deal with these things too. It's weird man, God has shown me things in my half a century walk on this orb and he keeps showing more. Sometimes I sigh at the wickedness of mankind and the foolishness of us. Don't people read history anymore? Do they not believe what others tried and failed at? Do they really think they are "the one" who will make the same behavior provide different results? Well all I can say to those things is I pray for them and I am right here to point to the only source of perfect freedom and peace. The Lord and savior Jesus Christ who came here to set the captives free. To save us from ourselves because we are a screwed up mess sometimes. As you face things always remember who you are in Christ and whose playground we are in while occupying this flesh vessel. Remember to ask forgiveness when you err and to remember our savior will even carry us when we are at our lowest.
Joh 16:32-33
Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Lord Jesus, Come quick! Help us deal and stay in your perfect peace. Intercede on our behalf to our loving Father. Bless our hands so they do your work. Calm minds and bodies. Holy Spirit, rest on us. Bless our leaders. Give them vision. in Jesus name, amen
