Good morning! How are we faithing? I was sitting in church yesterday, full to the rafters it was, and remembering all the things many of the people had gone through. Deaths, divorces, fires, calamity of all sorts and seeing them returning to where the only certainty lives; God. Jesus is right there with us through all we face. I watched young couples and was thinking and hoping they keep they're focus and never utter the word divorce. I pray for their children and that they never endure a child loss. I look at the senior members and imagine them when they were in the same place those young newly married couples are, full of passion and an enthusiastic look on life. It makes one ponder this walk of life when you really observe and take stock in the wisdom from all these family members, the family of Christ. I can see where some turned left when they should have turned right. I see some men that would rather be right than happy as well as some women who can't stand the thought of a man in charge. I see so much hurt as well as so much peace. The marriage vow is sacred. The marriage vow seems to be just words to some and yet I also can see how they fly apart. Blame? What for after the fact? Instilling wisdom and encouraging these young folk to approach life's battles as one flesh just like the Bible says is where we older folks ought to help. Hugging on the neck of those who are struggling goes further than "if it were me advice". Look around as you start your work week and see beyond the mistakes and look for a way to encourage this week. A way for your presence to be uplifting and not someone to avoid. Forgive as we are forgiven. Treat others how we want to be treated and not necessarily how we are treated.
Psa 148:11-14
Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
Heb 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Heavenly Father,
We put your full armor and are ready to do battle with the enemy. We are ready to present you this week in all we do. Keep our minds alert and ready to say, act and be who you made us to be. Bless the children of all ages. Bless the marriages, young and old. Bless the leaders that they see clearly your path. Bless the infirmed. in Jesus name we pray, amen
