daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? David in all his sin never turned to other gods but remained loyal to God. Jonah, even after what he went through, stayed with God. Job, man he went through more than we can imagine, stayed with God and did not forget or diss God. I'm reminding you of these guys because what you are going through is no bigger than their woes so why would you give up or even consider turning to other gods? You turn your back on God you are choosing another even if it is yourself or the emotion you are feeling. You make that "down in the cellar digging holes" your god. How do we keep from falling into that trap? Praise him in the storms. Make  yourself sing the praises for all God has done before. You know, our momentary comfort is not worth walking away from God. You can be ticked because of the pain but remember who made us all. You can be frustrated because you feel overwhelmed but remind yourself of life given. You can feel alone but you have to remind yourself of the legions of angels everywhere. You will endure and you will have things go on but as we all remember the creator and his majesty and as we sing those praises even while crying, the comforter is right there. Our savior is right there. Our Father still loves us. People, sometimes it sucks real bad but it can always, like the old hymn says, "it is well with my soul".

Jer 10:24
O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

Psa 6:6-10
I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.  Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.  Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.  Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love for us. Thank you for my pain that reminds me of the good things you provide. Calm our souls. Let us know you got this and we are feeling effects. Lord we praise your holy name. We never want to turn from you. In Jesus name we rebuke the enemy and his henchmen. Teach us to praise you no matter the storms. In Jesus name, amen
