Good morning! How are we faithing? Ending the day at work with a prayer helps us to be able to leave work at work and be aware of the bigger picture of life. Laying ones hand upon their place of employment and thanking God for hands that can work, brains that can think and the capability to perform, then leaving the work right there is a method for relieving the days stress. Trust me on this. We have discussed things that coincide with this premise before. Remember we are to put on the armor of God in the morning? We also are not to fret and worry because God will provide all our needs, right?
Psa 31:1-8
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD. I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
See, we have the spirit of God in us as believers in his only son so why get all a tremble of things that are passing? Why let momentary things of the day ruin our family time? Why let satans minion fling crap at us? That armor we put on deflects it all, we let some of it through. Just think on this and pray in the AM and PM.
Heavenly Father,
Help us keep perspective on our days. Help us show love in all we do. Help us develop an attitude that edifies and does not cause dismay and drudgery. Bless our hands and minds that we reflect your light. In Jesus name, amen
