daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? I have a lot to answer for as I'm sure you do too. Here's the cool thing though. I am forgiven. I am redeemed. When junk I pulled in the past sneaks up and taps me on the shoulder I have to face it and tell it I am already forgiven but God and I will have a conversation about every idle word and deed and you don't need to remind me. Satan and his minion like to remind us of our past and try and beat us down. Remind us of past sin even though God had removed them as far as east is from west. Wow, so maybe I wont have that conversation with God if he has removed them. This thought process is difficult for us humans because our nature tries to do or earn everything while grace is a gift. I know of believers who still don't get it or can't seem to accept it. Good works are a result of grace not a path to it. If you think because you said some words on an altar that you can continue your past lifestyle with no changes it brings into question if you really accepted Jesus as savior so check yourself. Only you know if you truly repented or just went through the motions to hedge you bets or get a "stay out of hell" ticket. Time is shorter today than yesterday and who knows if you will have time to give your heart to Jesus before it's to late. Hell is real and the hell you may have gone through on this blue orb ain't nothing compared to an eternity with absence of God.

Heb 10:24-27
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for salvation. Thank you for your grace that covers our sin. We do believe and accept you into our hearts and desire to serve honorably. Touch those struggling with all the issues humans face. Teach us to love beyond what the eyes see but love the heart like you do. Open our eyes to truth in every situation. In Jesus name, amen
