daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Waiting for God to move when we want things now can be taxing but I have found it to be of benefit when I do. God is not slack when it comes to his promises for us and and his kindness towards us. He's a doting father, a loving God who loves his creation and urges us on to be better. I don't think perfection is achievable but rather than looking as men perceive perfection we ought to look to God. Our goal is not perfection but to be more Christ-like. It is simply logical to realize we can't be perfect while in these bodies but that doesn't give us license to blow off seeking God because of it. That does not give us the right to say "I can't be perfect so I'll do what I want anyways", Quite the contrary actually. Knowing we are not perfect and ought to seek Christ in all things brings our eyes off self and on Jesus. Waiting on God's way and God's timing for our prayers to be fulfilled rather than pushing and pulling to get what we want is one way that God teaches patience, prudence and wisdom. Waiting on God while all the while continuing in prayer keeps our eyes on Jesus rather than self. He supplied before, why wouldn't now?? In his time guys, in his time.

Isa 30:18
And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Isa 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for salvation. Thank you for grace and wisdom that sustains us. Help us see truth in all things and understand when we have to wait. Help us see what has to take place first and to rest in waiting on you. In Jesus name, amen
