Good morning! How are we faithing? Busy as bees running to and fro trying to eek out a living and we get so focused that we miss those who need Jesus even to the extent that we walk right on by saying,"I don't have time". Really? You don't have time to introduce eternal life? You don't have time to pause and love like our savior did us? I understand we have jobs and such but like the Word tells us, it's all so short time wise speaking, a vapor. It's all fleeting. Our self worth is a product of a saving grace through Jesus who tells us he loves us enough to die for us. Our self image can be one Jesus has or it can be a product of the worlds. That later one is dangerous because of what it is based on, works. The worlds opinion of our religiousness is something we cannot be consumed with because it will lead us away from truth and into lies that the enemy has set up. Be careful not to fall for things that only appear or sound good but rather pay attention to the Word and what it teaches. There are a lot of heretics out there and also many people speaking flowery flowing words to pacify the masses. There are those who are not edifying us but flattering us as a set up for gain. It's a wild world people and if we are not wise we will get chewed up so take the time, pause to speak to others. Pray for your eyes to be opened to the needs you can meet. Pray you don't get distracted or misled with this previous things mentioned that we end up just another religious zealot that is only zealous for looking like a zealot.
1Co 2:10-13
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your grace that saves us. Thank you for the light in our life. Help us recognize truth and needs and forget self. Help us be real and available for you. Bless the down trodden. Bless the children. Bless our troops and our leaders. Bless our hands that they do your work out of love and not for gain. In Jesus name we pray, amen
