daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Tired of hot muggy weather. I'm old and fat guys sweat. A lot. I have been thinking about many things lately and in a bit of a quandary. Not in a bad way but just looking about and wondering the time line of things. The seasons come and go and yet prophecies in the Word are unfolding. There will come a time when time and seasons wont matter much because of calamity. I was reading about the siege of Jerusalem where they were cut off in the city and started boiling there shoes for food. Think about that. We in this country can't even imagine that. Even destitute people living on the streets in this country can get at least one meal a day at soup kitchens, churches etc. True more needs to be done but when I see the people eating dirt in the mid east yet have ammunition and an AK in their hands, boy, where are the priorities? Then again if they know nothing else...People, we have got to wake up. We are vulnerable and by ignoring things that make us uncomfortable or choosing not to believe it could happen here is foolish. I'd bet most Germans in the 20's and 30's didn't think what was about to happen could. I'd bet China never thought an island like Japan could whoop them. The ottoman empire sure thought they had a lock on everything. I'd bet the Brits never thought their empire would evaporate. People, read the Word every day. Spread your faith. Live your faith while there is still day because night is coming and man o man, darkness can fall on all of us.

Joh 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for salvation. Thank you for your Word. Grant us wisdom and courage to stand for you. Protect our brethren in harms way. Let them see your magnificence when facing the evil in this world. Protect the children. Protect our troops. Be with our emergency workers. In Jesus name, amen
