Good morning! How are we faithing? Holding on to things taught by man so tightly that ones whole world falls apart when a detail presents itself as false is not prudent. It is fine to believe and to trust but it is also important to not rest ones whole faith on a detail that is an interpretation rather than a statement of fact. Some details simply wont be known until they happen and if it happens a little askew from a firm held belief, would you be able to say,"I'll be, so that's what that means" or would you crumble and lay on the ground afraid to believe anything? I believe this is a satanic ploy and he is hoping we all will fall and curse God over these details. What am I talking about? Signs and prophecies. The Word is full of them and I have heard so many different interpretations on the same prophecies I have learned to recognize what to hang my hat on and which ones to take a "wait and see" attitude. The only way any of us can take that stand is to research the Word on your own after receiving teachings. Trust but verify. We all ought to know that without Jesus no on enters heaven, that is fact and the scripture cant be misread by man and if it is, it's heresy right? The road to salvation is very plain and any other way is deception. That being said, will you abandon that belief if something happens that shatters your paradigm about prophecies and end times? Is the book series, "Left Behind" absolute? I don't think so but is that important? Do we have to agree on every detail and throw out everything if one detail turns to be inaccurate? No! Hold onto the saving grace of Jesus and let no mans wisdom derail that salvation! The Bible talks of a great falling away in the end times and people, I can see where deception could manifest itself in many ways. I can see where people could be persuaded by their eyes rather than the Holy Spirit. Once one has tasted of the glory that is God it is hard to imagine one could be deceived or fall away but the Bible warns of exactly that. Satan and his minion have manifested themselves before as angels of light and as physical beings so why wouldn't or couldn't they still do that? What if aliens showed up and claimed to be God? What if some brilliant guy bursts on the scene and solves major issues? What if we get faked out by an illusion that is so fantastic but denies Jesus? Will we fall for it? Staying grounded in our salvation and dealing with things purely from a Biblical standpoint is the only way we will survive those things. Satan is good at what he does. He also is good at presenting half truths. When he tempted Jesus in the wilderness he used scripture but parts of it and some a tad twisted. That ploy works if one is not prepared. If one is more into the preacher than the message one can be steered off the path of righteousness. Hold the Word close to you but remember you don't know it all. I learn every time I read. I sure up my faith with every read. I question things, explore things, learn things, how about you?

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that is the only truth. Help us not be deceived when the enemy enters our camp. Help us see those deceivers for what they are and have courage to follow you no matter what may come. Lord we lift your name on high and offer blessings to the God that loves us. In Jesus name, amen
