Good morning! How are we faithing? I have found in my years that people deal harshly with others that have the same sin as they do. They come down hard on those people and then we find out, they are doing the same thing. Sometimes we don't find out but it happens so often that I believe when I see that harshness there, there is an inner working going on. Why is that? Guilty conscience perhaps? I dunno but it should cause us to explore ourselves especially if we deal harshly with someone for a sin. I'm not talking about disciplining your child but more dealing with peers. Don't misconstrue the point here. Sin is sin and it must be dealt with but this is for you and I to examine our own sin. This is to encourage you because you are not alone. We all sin. Sometimes it isn't realized until we get in an uproar over someone elses sin. Look people, this life is hard and this walk with messiah can be rough but looking down a pointed finger at others is not our mission. Our mission is to present Jesus and Jesus' grace. Yes we deal with sin, I don't know about you but dealing with my sin is a big enough job without dealing with your's. Paying attention to my walk is not made easier if I'm looking at other's sin. I don't get to think I'm holier because my sin ain't as bad as my neighbors. Yes maybe his is heinous but so are mine. All have come short of the glory of God so lets go out there today and let Gods spirit deal with the masses through us and let not us get in the way.
2Co 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:9-12
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Heavenly Father,
We lift those struggling with life today. We lift those who need to make choices. We lift those who are searching for your will. Lead us O Lord to your goals. Bring us back to your path. Forgive us if we get hoity toity. Keep us humble and seeing with your eyes. Help us understand what is happening before us. Help us be fearless in the face of everything. Open the eyes of our leaders. We pray they seek you and not man's approval. Bless the troops, bless the emergency workers, in Jesus name, amen
