daily prayer

        Good morning! How are we faithing? Don't think you are doing God a favor when you do good to or for someone. Don't think you earn brownie points when you follow Jesus' teachings. Jesus taught us a better way not to get in good with the Father but for us to live a better life.  God does not need us but wants us. We do not have to earn to receive his favor. He does point out in his Word that certain things will begat certain results and this is because of the way this world and we are made. God told us that we reap what we sow and if we are honest with ourselves we will see that truth. I hear some people say they are getting paid back for some infraction. Well I suppose that's true in one respect but it actually is cause and effect and that is what the Word says. You do this and the result is that. You choose not to accept Jesus' pardon and you don't get pardoned. You fail to choose yes or no and you still have made a choice. People, make that choice today because tomorrow is uncertain. Jesus died for you and why would anyone not accept the free grace he offers?  There is no argument at all. There is no rationalization that makes any sense as to why one would not accept a free pardon. Oh you don't need one? Please. We all do. Ever lusted after a hot guy or gal? You need a pardon. Ever coveted anything? You need a pardon. Ever lied to save feelings? You need a pardon. Anything you've done contrary to the Word, however noble the intentions may have been, needs a pardon. Accept the grace God offers before you can't .

Heb 10:8-17
  Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.  For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Heb 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Heavenly Father,
  Forgive our sins. Lead us to your path so we can live exceptional lives. Open our eyes to truth. Help us be a people who edify and not tear down others. Help us see the hearet and not the outward displays. Lord, we praise your name and ask for wisdom this day. In Jesus name, amen
