Good morning! How are we faithing? We can be confident. We can trust the Lord and his promises. As we look for the Lord in all things we have to remind ourselves of the promises in the Word so the gloom and doom reports we hear do not dismay us. Catastrophes will happen. Accidents, mayhem, diabolical men will all come and go but our Lord always is. Deal with what comes but always be cognoscente of our Lord's presence. Look at this promise;
Gen 8:22
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
We must continue on serving God in any capacity he sets before us all the while remaining alert to the enemy and his prowling around looking to devour. He has already been defeated and he is just making as big a mess he can before he goes so take stock in these verses and sear them in your heart;

Jas 5:7-9
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
When you stumble, repent quickly. When you see God's handiwork, praise and thank him. When all seems futile, remember our savior who gave his life for ours. I used to love hearing an old friend sing,"his life for mine" because Jesus did give his life for mine...man....

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for grace. Thank you for beauty. Thank you for the capacity to love. Teach us compassion. Show us your fingerprint on all we see. Keep the travelers safe and protect our leaders from harm. In Jesus name, amen
