Good morning! How are we faithing? As we go about our days on earth we grow and learn. A day without growth is a waste of a day. A day without the Word is a waste of the day. Hiding the Word in ones heart is a really good thing to do because if you are in a situation on a day where you can't get your hands on a Bible, you can bring to remembrance what is hidden. Could you imagine the Jews in the concentration camps or the Russians in a gulag in Siberia? How about those at the Hanoi Hilton? Absolutely no access to any scripture and surrounded by all that bleakness. Where would the strength come from? Training for those times only goes so far. I can't imagine not being able to turn on my radio and hear scripture taught or Christian music. Oh I listen to other stuff too but that is the point, choice. How did those on the Bataan death march deal with beatings and starvation without the Word? How did those captured in Korea withstand cold and malnourishment in captivity? I would dare to say they had scripture hidden in their hearts whether it was their Mom's voice reciting it or their Dad speaking principles from it. People, don't delay your scripture daily because we don't know what tomorrow brings.
Heb_4:12
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2Ti 3:14-17
But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. And that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
Psa 102:2-3
Hide not thy face from me in the day of my distress: Incline thine ear unto me; In the day when I call answer me speedily. For my days consume away like smoke, And my bones are burned as a firebrand.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that nourishes us. Help us cement it in our hearts. Help us see you in all things and help us help and encourage others. Lord, forgive our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness. Help us look to you in times of trouble and to accept what comes knowing you are with us. In Jesus name, amen
