daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? You know, we as a people tend to lump things together. We say things like,"All Muslims are terrorists" when in fact it's the ideology that the trouble is with and not that necessarily the Muslim next door. We say things like,"The French are cowards" when it is the government that makes the political choices and not the Frenchman next door. I know this to be so because I see people in other countries saying things about America because of decisions our government made yet i disagree as the American next door. We must have a keen sense of truth so as to not fall for media hype or the mob mentality because from the outside looking in, we can verify or nulify preconceived notions. Jesus bucked the system but not in a bad way but a truthful way. What was right was right and what was wrong was wrong. He held no bitterness for what was done to him because he loved regardless of circumstances. He knew that influence on many people was from the theocracy and the government. He knew that if he showed the truth that the truth would set them free. Think about this today and see if you are bigoted and have succumbed to lies. These days it is easy to find ones self where they never meant to be.

Isa 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

2Pe 2:18-19
For, uttering great swelling words of vanity, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by lasciviousness, those who are just escaping from them that live in error;  promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he also brought into bondage.

remember Irene...remember Robert...

Heavenly Father,
Please forgive our ways when they are contrary to your Word. Lord we ask for wisdom and courage to seek out what is true and accept your ways over our own. Help us be humble enough to admit mistakes. Help us reach out to the lost so they may know salvation today. Lord bless us today, touch our bodies and minds that we may serve you, in Jesus name, amen
