Good morning! How are we faithing? There is a picture some graffiti on walls in Israel that says,"First we go for the Saturday people, then the Sunday people." Wow. We are seeing just this happening. It seems the entire world is after Israel and we are next. It appears to me that is happening already from within. People, I know I keep sounding the "time is short bell" but it is because time IS short. It's time believers get off the milk and mature to the truth. It's time we minister to a fallen world that Messiah is available for all. If you don't see things this way you need to read the Word more. If you do see things the way the Word describes and sit on your hands saying it's gonna happen anyways, you are not doing as Jesus told us. We have got to get out there and spread the gospel before it's too late. I noticed something yesterday. It being Easter and many of us went to a restaurant for a meal after our church service. I thought,"What about all these people working, were they invited to church? Is our expecting a good meal prepared keeping those from going to church?" How did this happen? We invite people to church and yet expect to be served, shops to be open and any that are not that inconvenience us, we get mad. How is this even remotely "Christian"? I had a conversation long ago with some servers at restaurants and they said Sunday afternoon was an awful time to work. The people coming from church are demanding and tip horribly. Wow. Beside expecting these people who didn't go to church to serve us, and we complain? We don't tip well? We ought to be the ones being patient, over tippers, regardless of the service. They ought to be drawn by our demeanor to Christ and not repulsed. That my friends is another area where we drop the ball. Like we've said before, selfishness...and on resurrection Sunday...
Rom 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
remember Robert...
Heavenly Father,
Forgive us Lord for being selfish. We ask for wisdom to grow in you. We ask for courage to stand for what's right, act according to your truths with compassion even if we are stepped or spat upon, verbally abused or denied comfort. Let us act holy and in your Spirit in all things. In Jesus name, amen
