daily prayer

    Good morning! How are we faithing? A friend of mine posted this earlier; "We will not live bolder than we pray."  Wow man, does it get any more real than that? I have found the boldness of my prayers are of the type that are spoken, thought, written down with a confidence that one has when totally convinced. I know that I know that Jesus is Lord and any request I make, he is willing and capable of answering. I also trust so completely that if I pray asking for something it will be done correctly. I also have the trust and confidence in my Lord that if I ask askew, he does what is right and I accept it without complaining and thank him for keeping me straight. I have lived long enough, screwed up enough and seen him show up and show off enough that prayers answered are always timely, what is needed and my desires follow his. His way is always better so if the answers are not what I asked for I willfully accept the answer with glee. How about you? What is your confidence level? Here is something that helps me to look to Jesus with confident boldness;

Rev 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

What else is there to consider? If we take this as truth, we ask in our own finite way and are willing to learn from the answer. If my request is answered as I ask, woo hoo! I am on target! If it is answered in a different way, woo hoo! I have learned something new and my Lord is still willing to teach me! The Word tells us to pray without ceasing and it means just that. Constant communing with the Lord! Nothing too big and nothing too small for Jesus. Thank our Lord for the deer that cross the road. Thank our Lord for the flowers of spring. Thank our Lord for the ability to do what you do every day. Constantly seek out his will in all you do.

Isa 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Isa 48:12-13
  Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.  Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

Heavenly Father,
  Thank you for your love for us. Help us stay tuned to your channel. Help us reach out to the lost. Lord we ask for wisdom to not cause harm but to encourage others and that they see you on our countenance. That the lost are drawn to you by our behavior. Help us to be obedient to your Word and never loose trust that you got this all. In Jesus name, amen
