     Good morning! How are we faithing? We hear it in song. We hear it said all the time. There are books on it. What you say? Love. I love music and I have noticed there are some twisted views of what love is. Many think the effects of love is love when the effects of love are a result of love. Sex is not love. Sex is a by product of love. So many people think sex is all there is to love. Many have traveled down the "sex is love" road and when it gets boring or whatever, they get a new partner and it happens over and over again. Love does not seek itself but shows itself by sacrifice for the other. So many times it happens that people trade love for lust or get so selfish they say things like,"what have you done for me?" or "I'm not happy anymore". Lets pause and look at some verses;

1Co 13:4  Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5  doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;
1Co 13:6  rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;
1Co 13:7  beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Love, real love is describe above. Marriage love is 100-100%, not 50-50%. Love for a brother is fight and still have a cup of coffee after. Forgiveness goes right along with love. Seeking what others need and willing happily to give them what you have never being concerned for what comes in return is love. We have a savior that gave all because he loved us. The law wasn't able to save us so an effect of love of Jesus is we follow his lead and obey his precepts and the effect is, we are in line with the law. See how that works? Cause and effect. We accept Jesus, we learn his Word and as a result of that love we follow his Word, love our neighbors, learn to love as he loved and we end up following the law. The same with spousal love. You give all, treat as you want to be treated, be concerned for them instead of yourself and in return you sleep well. You stress less. You are in real love not that fake crap of song and movies.

Heavenly Father,

  We ask for peace and quiet to hear your voice in these times of anguish. We ask a blessing and an eyeopening for all relationships that we can see what the ones we love need. We lift the lost to you. Help us love them and see their needs over ours. Teach us how to love unconditionally. In Jesus name, amen
