daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Had A good visit with some friends last night and while listening and observing I am in wonder the work God does and how different peoples paths all lead to Jesus. One was young and one was old. One had miles of road traveled and one was in the beginning of his journey. It always amazes me when I see others overcome obstacles easily while I see myself struggle over the same things thus I listen intently to those people and all the while they listen to me for the same reasons. When our focus is on Jesus and his Word we can overcome anything. When we bond with other believers we can prop them up in areas as we are propped up by them. When we can really understand that we are all weak and strong in different areas we stop judging when other fall down in areas we don't. Whatever we have overcome and what ever we have not, there is someone who is in the same place and there are some who have overcome what we have not. Such a blessing when in love we pay attention to fellow believers' successes without whoopin our own butts over our struggles and failures.  I don't know about you but my friends come to my rescue as do I theirs and you know what? Jesus ALWAYS rescues both of us.

Mat 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Jas 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Heavenly Father,
Oh Lord we thank you for friends. We thank you for your Holy Spirit that quickens us to your truths. We ask forgiveness when we fail you and when we fail our brothers and sisters. Open our eyes to all things that are holy and of you and guard us from the enemies ploys. We ask for wisdom and courage to stand for your ways even in the face of personal peril. Open our ears to heard your voive and grant us the ability to drown out all the rest. In your holy name of Jesus we pray, amen
