daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? What is to become of this nation? Are we going the way of Rome? Of the Meade and Persians? Alexander the Great? Has the Arab spring turned into all the nations coming against Israel?  Are we on the crest of the Gog Magog war spoken of in Ezekiel? What is to become of us if we sit comfortable and do not warn? What if we think there is no reason to warn? We must, as believers, don our shield of faith and the sword of the Word and our helmet of salvation then go out into battle because the lost will remain lost if we do not do the work of God. Not just the physical charitable work but the work of spreading the gospel before it's too late. People, the Word told us to watch for the signs of Jesus' coming and even gave those signs so why are we ignoring them? Let me tell you, just like the watchmen on the wall of olden times, if they failed to warn, they were killed and lost with the unwarned masses.

Isa 21:5-12
Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield.  For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.  And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:  And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:  And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.  O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.  The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

Isa 60:1-3
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Heavenly Father,
We pray for the lost Lord and ask for courage and wisdom to go out unto the masses showing your light. Help us prepare for battle every morning when we arise and grant us visions when we slumber.  Forgive us Lord where goof up and bring to our minds that light so we may grow in your Word. Thank you Lord for another productive week and be with us as we traverse this weekend. Let it be fruitful for your kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray, amen
