Good morning! How are we faithing? Well, here we go. I may be opening a subject that gets people wound up. Talking to some people I find they think their brand of Christianity is 100% and are gleeful when they think that everyone will come to their side when we get to heaven. Some even think other Christians wont make it because they don't believe exactly like them. Dangerous! If you are one of these you had better get in the scriptures. We are suppose to be one and many of the churches today quibble over things that really have no affect on salvation so why is breath wasted on those things? Why do churches split over foolish things like carpet? Doctrine is what matters and hear me when I say, you will not find a church that agrees 100% with you and if you do, trouble will ensue when the Holy Spirit shows up to steer the ship. You wont want to give up the helm. I heard one Pastor talking about when the Ark of the Covenant was moved on an ox cart instead of carried by the priests, that Pastor said the Word was carried by boards and big wheels and people, that relates to most churches today. Things get decided by boards and big wheels. I do not want to poo poo any churches here but you people are the church and not the organization. Organization is necessary but don't let it become the church. We see churches today approving all sorts of things that are directly contrary to scripture and claim scripture is wrong. What? How could anything that contradicts a Biblical principle be acceptable? How does an organized church who claim Jesus as messiah, claim to be Bible believers ever accept such foolish things? Organization has taken over. The boards and big wheels are at it again. Gee whiz man, it's this type of religion that killed our Messiah. Their status quo was threatened and they acted un scriptural to a perceived threat. We must not allow that to happen to us. We must be aware of the wolves that come into our churches. We must remember the church is suppose to be a body of believers and not a set of organizational rules that fly in the face of scripture. Jesus prayed for future congregations;
Joh 17:20-23
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved
me.
Read John chapter 17 and see what was important to Jesus and how we ought to be "organized". Where do you miss it?
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that is the only truth for your church. Help us live by your principles and not be fooled by "theory by consensus" . Forgive our sins and please grant us wisdom and courage to stand for your principles. Bless our children and our leaders Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen
