daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? I had an interesting productive day yesterday. Praise God for the ability to have those days! When we deal with things, whether good or bad, what attitude do we have? Do we take the Word of God and use it or do we whine and moan? If it's a good day do you thank God? If it's a bad day do you seek God more or less than the good day? Shouldn't we bless God for both? One for the endurance to overcome and one for the time enjoyed? Don't ever complain about rough days because were it not for rough days we would never recognize good days. Life has ups and downs, it's the huge swings that become problematic if we don't seek Jesus in both. I know I know, when the furnace blows up the same week the transmission in the car gives out and the tuition bill comes the same time property taxes are due we tend to become more folically impaired by our own hands. Does it do anyone any good to let things get us out of our walk with God? Why would we allow a reaction to outside influences mess with our sunshine? We've talked before about where our peace lies and if yours lies with a cold one watching a game and anything that interrupts that sends you in a tizzy then a refocus is in order. Be of good cheer that our names are written in the Lambs book of life and not what we can or can't do. Deal with things with wisdom and courage whether good or bad because guess what, I read the end of the Bible and God wins therefore  when we stand with him, we win too.

Mat 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your blessings in good and bad times. Open our eyes to what we need to see to be examples of your love. Forgive our hissy fits and self absorption. We ask for wisdom and clarity that we we see things for what they are and never forget you are in charge. In Jesus name, amen
