daily prayer

      Good morning! How are we faithing? 2018. What a year. As you know I was on a sabbatical so to speak from writing. I had so much happening, so much swimming in my head, family goings on etc..
     My writings will always focus on this faith we enjoy and live and help for us all. Remember daily this; you are an adopted child of God therefore you have the rights and privileges of said position. The enemy can harass you but you are able to overcome because of who your Father is. Remember this;

Eph 6:11-17
  Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil.
  For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.
  Therefore, take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day and to stand in all things perfect.
  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of justice:   And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
  In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.
  And take unto you the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).

2018 is over. Press on to the prize of salvation. As my Pastor said yesterday, "look back to learn but don't live there".  We are at the precipice of a new year so stand tall and never fear the future because our Father and Brother Jesus are beside us.

Heavenly Father,
     Forgive us when we sin. Help us to forgive others no matter how heinous there sin may be. Help us to be true to our claimed faith and let the chips fall where they may and let you handle those chips. Lord, we love and praise you. Grant us courage and vision to see the ploys of the enemy. Help us not fall for tricks and lies of the enemy. in Jesus name, amen
