daily prayer

   Good morning! How are we faithing? Wisdom. What a big subject to dissect. We all know people we deem as wise. Don't confuse smarts with wisdom either and what I mean is some smart people cant walk and chew gum and some wise people cant add and subtract. The wisdom from above transcends this world. Wisdom from above is the only truth there is. It is not full of itself or braggadocios. Look here;

Jas 3:13  Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Jas 3:14  But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Jas 3:15  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
Jas 3:16  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Man, a whole side road could be taken here about what our hearts hold. We cannot expect to receive wisdom from above when we harbor resentment. We cannot have a heart full of envy or any kind of strife and expect Godly wisdom. As we inhabit this earth we gain worldly wisdom but that is not Godly wisdom. Wisdom to not get hit by a bus isn't bad but it is worldly. Wisdom to treat others compassionately regardless of who or what they are is from above. Guard your hearts people. Fill your mind with the Word not just warcraft or HBO. Look at these;

Jas 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Jas 3:18  And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Before you speak to someones woe or lot in life, pause and look at the heart, speak wisdom from the Word. If you don't have anything, don't think you have to speak at all and by all means don't think its up to you to fix them. That is another subject for another day...

Heavenly Father,
  Thank you for Your wisdom. Thank you your Word reveals all truth. Help us to not harbor envy or strife so we can be compassionate like you. Guide us this day and protect us from the enemy and his minion. in Jesus name, amen
