Good morning! How are we faithing? Praise is important. Thankfulness is a way of life. Praising and thanking our savior daily is an exercise that helps us be more cognoscente of our Lord and what he has done for us. This attitude also helps us in every day life also. I am not necessarily thankful for the flat tire but the guy that stopped to help me, I am thankful and I praise God for another opportunity to show his grace. If we catch ourselves complaining, stop, praise our Lord and repent from an action that actually serves no one. All complaining does is wear you down. So today I urge you to praise God in the good things and the things that irk us.
Psa 138:1-8
I will praise You with my whole heart; before the gods I will sing praise to You.
I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth's sake; for You have magnified Your Word above all Your name. In the day when I cried You answered me and made me bold with strength in my soul. All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O Jehovah, when they hear the Words of Your mouth. Yea, they shall sing in the ways of Jehovah; for great is the glory of Jehovah. Though Jehovah is high, yet He has respect to the lowly; but the proud He knows afar off. If I walk in the midst of trouble, You will give me life; You shall stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand shall save me. Jehovah will perfect His work in me; Your mercy, O Jehovah, endures forever; do not forsake the work of Your own hands.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your goodness that is all around us. Help us not dwell on the bad stuff. Help us see truth and act accordingly. Show us your grace. Lord, forgive our sins. Help us take our thoughts captive so we don't dwell in despair. In Jesus name, amen
