Good morning! How are we faithing? Where is your belief commingled with social and cultural beliefs? Has your belief in Jesus and what he did tainted with the world? How would you know without the Word being taken in? I see it all the time as of late. People professing the grace of Jesus and then climbing on board with unclean spirits. Whenever we find that we have compromised we need to go with the Word and not the world. Whenever we discover we err, Jesus should win. Don't be embarrassed or feel unworthy when you discover errors in your life, thank God you discovered them! Unclean spirits, demons, devils are out here looking to trip us up and destroy us and confusing the Word with the world. That way of thinking will mess you up. There is a whole lot of blame and name calling going around and we ought to be looking at ourselves and not at others. We ought to be seeking Jesus in everything we do. The narrative today is so divisive and unless we recognize that distraction we are vulnerable to the ploys of our common enemy. I fear for the lost because today's social media and TV media is pushing hard for non belief in our savior. It's time we stand upright for Jesus and not give a hoot for the world.
2Th 2:13-17
But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my brothers, stand fast and hold the teachings which you have been taught, whether by word or by our letter.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
Heavenly Father,
Open our eyes to your truth. We pray your mercy makes us keenly aware of the unclean spirits that harass us. Help us stand firm on your Word regardless of what media tells us. We know your Word is perfect and we ask forgiveness for foolishly falling for the worlds ways. Help us live holy. Help us be your sons and daughters. We praise and thank you Lord for all these things, in Jesus name, amen
