daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? The confidence we walk in is not based on our culture or ways but on Jesus. We think our culture is always right. Most times we are not even aware of our thought process and how we view things. Upon studying cultures one finds out that the way of thinking is not the same. The Greek language has many meanings to words and feelings play a part as well as literal meanings. Our language here is a mish mash of many other languages therefore very literal and precise while in other languages context is way more important, for example, in Hebrew. When life is breathed into a person their name changes, Abram becomes Abraham, Sarai becomes Sarah. Once one knows God the breath sound is added. We don't do that. Our culture doesn't do that.  Study the Word with an open mind to what the Spirit is saying. Don't judge based on western culture because you will be mistaken often so an understanding of how others think will aid in your witness. Anyways, back on topic. We must understand that the war we rage is real but the advantage is ours. Jesus already won. The old Testament Bible tells of Messiah all over the place and those thoughts of salvation are stated many times. The fulfillment culminated in Jesus and since we have accepted by faith the grace of Jesus our warfare is real and present. Since we now know what is at stake and who is attacking us daily we can call on the Lord. All this to encourage you that while things may look bleak, Jesus has us and we have him! Walk in the spirit because we have the spirit in us! Study the Word with an open mind to what the Spirit is saying. Don't judge based on western culture because you will be mistaken often so an understanding of how others think will aid in your witness.

Isa 54:17
No weapon that is formed against you shall be blessed; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness is from Me, says Jehovah.

Rom 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your witness to us. Thank you for your Word that is true. Help us understand others so we can witness effectively. Lord, open our hearts to the Spirits promptings. Let us hear your voice and recognize the enemy. Bless our leaders. in Jesus name, amen
