Good morning! How are we faithing? I must confess, I sometimes have trouble with people when they've done stuff that makes me angry. I have trouble with someone who just doesn't see reason. I have, well you know, we all experience these things. We are a work in progress and when we realize we have these problems, it is wise to repent and not judge. We may still be ticked but don't dwell on it, give it to God and ask he soften your heart. Seems like that has to take place a lot. Flesh is weak, spirit is willing. When you get like this and the hair on your neck stands up, be quick to know if it is danger or it is you or a loved one getting stepped on. Our fight or flight instinct is important but we need to be wary of fighting over junk we need to be loving over. Look at these and set them in your heart;
Romans 12:9-16Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your grace that loves us no matter how we goof up. Lord tenderize our hearts so we can love as you command. Lord grant us wisdom to see the root cause and not the infraction. Lord we want to know you better. Show us your ways as we deal with this life. Lord keep us safe from the snares of satan. We lift each other up to you and ask a blessing of peace fall on us this week. We ask you keep the troops safe. Thank you for your love that transcends everything, in Jesus name, amen
