Success. How do you define success? Is it lots of money? A big house? An expensive car? Lots of toys like 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, Harleys? The best clothes? The best watch? The best hand bag? All these things are fine but they do not mean success. They mean success in the worlds view but what is more important, the world view of you or God's view? While riches , jobs and stuff  are not bad necessarily but a successful person has the attributes of a compassionate man or woman who appreciate tangible blessings while realizing their place. A successful human sees others as just as important as themselves. A successful human sees needs and is empathetic and they reach out. Some need a coat. Some need a meal. Some just need an ear. A successful human honors others in love. Oh we do hate sin but we should not hate the sinner because a successful human realizes they are a sinner too. A successful human will come to the aid  of  the innocent, not afraid to put their life up for justice. A successful human, although scared themself, will step in where truth should be spoken. A successful human is loyal, truthful, faithful, loving. Success should be measured from who you are, not what you have. Dr King spoke of "the content of our character" and that is where success is measured.

2Ti 1:7                                                                                                                                                          For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Mat 22:36-40                                                                                                                                           Master, which is the great commandment in the Law?  Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.   This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.
