       Good morning! How are we faithing? This is very interesting;

Mat 6:1  Take heed that you do not do your merciful deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in Heaven.

Mat 6:2  Therefore when you do your merciful deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.

Mat 6:3  But when you do merciful deeds, do not let your left hand know what your right hand does,

Mat 6:4  so that your merciful deeds may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret Himself shall reward you openly.

We see this a lot in the world. People make a big deal out of their charity whether it's donations to a building fund or whatever but we really see it in the political arena. We also see people bragging what they did for so and so all the while garnering praise from the crowd. Is this merciful? Is this a caring heart doing what they can or a heart after self edification? People, we have to be careful how we show mercy and hanging a banner telling everyone you showed mercy is not holy or dignified at all. Give because God said we should. Show compassion however and whenever you can but be content you pleased the father and not man.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for the mercy you have shown me. Thank you for giving me a softened heart that cares about others. Help me maintain dignity without accolades from others, I praise you Lord, in Jesus name, amen
