Good morning! How are we faithing? Why would highminded be in danger of remaining lost? The first problem is where ones trust lies. It lies in self and what one is capable of. I have met many who, because of a talent they have and the success of that talent, start to think they are above others.  That is being highminded. It is easy to fall into that trap because some talents turn to riches or adoration and one gets puffed up and forgets who they are. We see it in famous people but I'm here to tell you that even a lowly guy like me can fall in that trap therefore we all need to take heed to scripture to stay humble.

1Ti 6:17-19  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;  Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

If we are warned that means it's a thing to be addressed. Any scripture that talks about a persons heart condition is pointed at you and me. Remember this for your own good.

Heavenly Father, open the eyes of our heart that we see truth. Remind us when we succeed that without you it's meaningless. We praise you Lord and thank you for grace. In Jesus name, amen
