Good morning! How are we faithing? Worship of anything but God is simply idol worship. Some end up worshiping the creation instead of the creator. When we actually think about it we discover that anything, anyone, anyone else, if they are venerated we are worshipping created things and not the creator. Angels, demons, statues, places, money, leaders, critters it matters not. If worship is towards anything but God, idol worship. Do you remember this?

Mat 4:8-10  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 

On point as to who should be worshipped. Don't misunderstand, we are to enjoy creation but that is all. I am so pleased God made earth and it's abundance but it is all created just like you and me and not deserving of worship. wisdom here;

1Co 10:20-21  But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 

Heavenly Father, Thank you for salvation. Thank you for your Word. Forgive us if we place things higher than we ought. Help us understand the ploys of the unseen enemy and help us stand guard against all those that raise themselves high for we worship you Lord. In Jesus name, amen
