Good morning! How are we faithing? What we are talking about today can be difficult. I tis hard sometimes to not attack when being attacked. Lets look at something;

Rom 13:8  Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves another has fulfilled the Law. 

Rom 13:9  For: "Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not bear false witness; do not lust;" and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." 

Rom 13:10  Love works no ill to its neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law. 

Rom 13:11  This also, knowing the time, that it is already time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed. 

Rom 13:12  The night is far spent, the day is at hand; therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 

Rom 13:13  Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in carousings and drinking; not in co-habitation and lustful acts; not in strife and envy. 

Rom 13:14  But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not take thought beforehand for the lusts of the flesh. 

Verse 8 is quite simple. Love others. I have found that I can love someone but not like them, you too? Sure, we will have differences with others but love shouldn't stop. My kids drive me crazy sometimes but I still love them...same should be for others. Read verse 11, self explanatory. In verse 13, this is the first time I noticed Co-habitation. Another subject we should talk about one day. All this is showing how we ought be about God's ways and not ours. We must put on our savior in order to resist the lust of the flesh. Lets face it people, every sin is rooted in selfishness. Every sin is seeking justification for our own desires and when we give in, well, that's when the trouble starts. Think on these verses today. Self analyze where your head is at. Not to self abase but to get in line with our savior, always seeking righteousness over lust. I like to find verses like this that make me ponder, how about you?

Heavenly Father, Thank you for the wisdom in your Word. Thank you for showing how love works especially when we want to lash out. Help us be in tune to the Holy Spirit so we can act as your ambassadors in a fallen world. We praise you Lord and it is in Jesus name we pray, amen
