Good morning! How are you faithing? The forgiveness of God is everlasting. What does that mean? Once pardoned, pardoned forever. So then one could return to their ways? Why would they want to once pardoned? Why would anyone return to wicked ways if they truly sought God and found forgiveness. Unfortunately we all tend to revert in times of struggle. How we were raised, habits, comfort zone or perhaps simple ignorance causes us to fall back into bad ways. By renewing our minds in Gods Word we can defeat those wicked ways.
Isa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
People tend to complain when their comfort is in peril and feel like all is pressing in on them. That is a place that we need to recognize so we don't fall back into wicked ways. Read Matthew 13. Remember this;
1Jn 5:18-20 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not continue to sin, but the one born of God guards himself, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and all the world lies in evil. And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and the everlasting life.
Heavenly Father, Thank you for salvation. Lord, we ask for help in renewing our minds. We pray for those struggling with the woes of this world. Comfort them. Help them see the up side and not focus on the down side. Forgive our sins please! In Jesus name, amen
Isa 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, says Jehovah.
Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isa 55:10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and does not return there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring out and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
Isa 55:11 so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.
