Good morning! How are we faithing? The world throws all sorts of junk at us. This life, full of pitfalls, attacks us daily. Our common enemy has been tossing lies and temptations at us since the garden. The only way to even remotely hope to overcome the world is through Jesus Christ. As we watch events in the world it becomes very obvious the devil and his minion are working overtime because their time is short and they know this. We can only overcome by the salvation Jesus offers. 

1Jn 5:1-4  Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. And everyone who loves Him who begets also loves him who has been born of Him.  By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments.   For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.  For everything that has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. 

  As we face life daily we need to remind ourselves of this wonderful salvation we possess for without it we would be cannon fodder for the enemy. Look around. We see people fall for satans lies and get destroyed. It must break our Lords heart. But remember;

 Rom 8:35-37  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, "For Your sake we are killed all the day long. We are counted as sheep of slaughter."  But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us. 

 Heavenly Father, Thank you for your forgiveness unto salvation from this world. We ask only for wisdom and the strength to be your sons and daughters and to stand strong in the face of calamity. Teach us to forgive like you forgave us. in Jesus name, amen
