Good morning! How are we faithing? Doing good to our neighbors ought not be withheld because they did bad things to us. We may not sup with them but we still must forgive and treat them how we want to be treated. I had a neighbor that did not trust anyone. I would help when a need was seen and they would suspect an ulterior motive. I did not understand as I had never done anything against them but I also did not know if perhaps someone else before me had. The cool thing we can do is always remain honest and always present consistent grace and respect. Eventually they may see your trustworthiness...or maybe not. We don't know what makes anybody click different ways therefore we must remain steadfast in our demeanor. Think on these;
Pro 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
Jas 2:15-16 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and if one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them those things which are needful to the body, what good is it?
Do what is honorable and right. Do not let anger cause you to be bitter to others.
Gal 6:9-10 But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint. So then as we have time, let us work good toward all, especially toward those of the household of faith.
Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Word that teaches us how to be your servant. Lord, we ask for your grace be on our neighbors and that we show your love and grace too. Forgive us when we miss opportunities to show you. Open our eyes Lord! In Jesus name, amen
