Good morning! How are we faithing? A very interesting subject that leads from dreams to other sins committed by non Jehovah believing peoples is below. The Jewish people were warned of all sorts of  abominations that would harm them and lead them away from God. Look at these;

Deu 18:9-14  When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God shall give thee, beware lest thou have a mind to imitate the abominations of those nations.  Neither let there be found among you any one that shall expiate his son or daughter, making them to pass through the fire: or that consulteth soothsayers, or observeth dreams and omens, neither let there be any wizard,  Nor charmer, nor any one that consulteth pythonic spirits, or fortune tellers, or that seeketh the truth from the dead.  For the Lord abhorreth all these things, and for these abominations he will destroy them at thy coming.  Thou shalt be perfect, and without spot before the Lord thy God.   These nations, whose land thou shalt possess, hearken to soothsayers and diviners: but thou art otherwise instructed by the Lord thy God. 

We have talked before of these things and we know that seeking answers from bad sources leads to sin. If the people God warned the Jews about were given any authority they would deceive the nation and that nation would fall out Godly behavior and come to ruin. These verses tell me to be wary of sources and to check them with scripture. I know I harp on Bible literacy but without it we are destined to doom.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Word that leads us to holy living. Help keep our minds sharp to discern folly from truth. Help us Lord seek only truth from you. Bless those on the front lines defending truth and bless those supporting holy living and supplying your people. In Jesus name, amen
