Good Morning! How are we faithing? I have always been a dreamer. In sleep I dream of all sorts of things. I am aware of "pizza dreams" and aware when the Lord speaks. This summer and into fall I have had my share of brain slog dreams and also warning dreams. It is rare that I tell my dreams because, well, I don't want to speak like a fool. The Word speaks of dreams and dreamers and even warns us about them leading men astray, like this;

Deu 13:1-3  If a prophet rises among you, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,  and the sign or the wonder which he foretold to you occurs, saying, Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us serve them,  you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For Jehovah your God is testing you to know whether you love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 

Very interesting. Dreams can fool people therefore the enemy might use them too? Hmm..There's also evidence that false prophets practice deception.

Jer_23:32  Jehovah says, Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams and tell them, and cause My people to go astray by their lies and by their lightness. Yet I did not send them nor command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says Jehovah.

Jer_29:8  For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your fortune-tellers in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you dream.

With all that said I also remember this;

Act_2:17  "And it shall be in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

I'm an old man and I believe the Word therefore I pay attention to dreams that appear prophetic and compare it to scripture and if any of it is contrary, pizza...

Heavenly Father, We ask for dreams and visions from you be self evident and glorify you. We ant to see your face in all we do and we do not want to be in error. Help us be wise when confronting forces we can't see. Help us rely on you for everything and not fall for enemy lies. In Jesus name, amen
