      Good morning! How are we faithing? Turkey overload, stuffing bloat, tater coma and the rest. Man, thanksgiving is such a fun time and thanksgiving is what it's all about. Family time especially catching up with the younger members. Did you ever notice when Jesus and apostles preached that most times food was involved. The last supper, fishes and loaves and breakfast for the apostles when he arose from the grave. Peter and Timothy handed out bread and water. We have to take on that attitude when we see needs. It does no good to say to the homeless person sleeping on the ground that you will pray for him because he needs warmth now so give whatever you can to make him warm and pray for him, don't tell him you will, just do it. Look at this;

Jas 2:15-16  If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and if one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them those things which are needful to the body, what good is it?

Saying you'll do something makes you feel good, doing something makes more sense and a seed may be planted.

 Pro 3:27  Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.

1Jn 3:18  My children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Pay attention to the people you encounter. I say, look for needs in people that you can meet and don't look for accolades.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for thanksgiving blessings in my family. Help us pass on blessing whenever we can. Open our eyes to needs we normally might not notice. Help us keep our eyes on you and your ways so we can show your love. In Jesus name, amen
