     Good morning! How are we faithing? Our flesh is bound by original sin. We are born corrupt because of it. Being corrupt we can't inherit the kingdom of God or indulge in the riches of God and heaven. In order for that to happen we have to become incorruptible. Well gee whiz, how can we do that? "We" can't. What we can do is accept the only one who ever did become incorruptible in life and death. Jesus. With the gift of salvation we defeat the corruption that sin has laid on our lives. Death used to be real scary. Death used to be the finality of this frail human life. It is not with  Messiah Jesus. Our physical death on earth is just the beginning of a saved existence for ever. What lies ahead? Immortality with Jesus. We don't understand how exactly life will be lived compared to the only life we understand at this point but I am pretty sure it will be way above where we are now. This is encouraging;

1Co 15:50-58  And I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed;  in a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet. For a trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.   For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and when this mortal shall put on immortality, then will take place the word that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory.   O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"  The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the Law.  But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  So that, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

Heavenly Father, We praise you Lord! We ask for wisdom and understanding to see your truth and to be at peace with the things we don't understand. We want to see Jesus in everything and we want to serve you. We don't always understand how things work but our complete trust is in you. Be with our emergency workers and help people close to death find your peace. In Jesus name, amen
