Good morning! How are you faithing? How do we behave? How should we deal with daily issues? We as people tend to react poorly when we get hurt. We have a tendency to retaliate. Before we found Jesus and redemption we lashed out at others who dissed us...and sometimes we still do. When the Word tells us to pray without ceasing and to put on the full armor of God it isn't laying laws down but trying to change our minds from repetitive behavior to holy behavior. Holy doesn't mean pius but honorable and Christlike. As we go through our days I admonish you to pause before you act. Ask a few questions of yourself and always refer to the Word for wisdom. Here's some;
Eph 4:22-32 For you ought to put off the old man (according to your way of living before) who is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. And you should put on the new man, who according to God was created in righteousness and true holiness. Therefore putting away lying, let each man speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down upon your wrath, neither give place to the Devil. Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, so that he may have something to give to him who needs. Let not any filthy word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect of need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed until the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and tumult and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
Look forward to holy living not to earn anything but to be obedient to God. He does not want us to suffer for bad choices so he gives holy. loving advice. He made all of this so his advice is always correct.
Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Word that sustains us. Help us have you in the forefront of our minds always. Help us be the light in a dark world. Help us fear not anything this world throws at us. Lord we ask for the courage to be your servants. In Jesus name, amen
