Daily Prayer

Good morning! Ah, another day to serve and praise the Lord. Are you weighed down with the junk of the day? Your job, that co-worker that just rubs you wrong, your car breaks down, gotta iron that shirt when you're already late, you know, normal stuff. God cares about the little stuff as much as the big. Pray, speak to him when ever and as often as you can! He's listening! Sometimes we wonder, but remember his timing is perfect and ours ain't.

Ephesians 5:15-20
Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
NIV

That is cool! Give thanks to God for everything. When you are in the midst of the junk, remember God will see you through and you WILL be stronger for it. It matters not what the other guy does, you be concerned about you and your walk.

1 Timothy 2:1-62:1
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men-the testimony given in its proper time.
NIV

See? Those verses show us and tell us how to and for whom we should pray. Give it to God. Pray all the people you meet see God in you. Let your lips only bless and then they have nothing durogatory to say about you. Ultimately they may find Jesus! Remember Kevin Oerton...Theo Cobb...Travis' job ...

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for being with us that we may know real peace and that we see you in everything we do. Teach us to praise you and be the people we ought to be. We lift up those mentioned that you reveal yourself and guide them in their decisions. Protect our leaders from satanic influence. Let them know your perfect will. Thank you for the blessings you give us. Thank you for friends, in Jesus name, Amen
