Good morning! Dog days are upon us here in Kentucky, man it's hot! God gave us a way to him in his son, Jesus. Why is it that way? I don't know why things work the way they do, they just do. We didn't have any say in the formation of the world and how it works. Eventually we will know I suppose but until then, don't worry about stuff that can't be answered. Check this out;
John 14:1-7
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."
Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." NIV
That's to the point. Trust in Jesus. Know him as your savior. All the stuff that can't be answered will be revealed in heaven. Don't let the unanswered questions cause doubt. Focus on Jesus and the answers we have been given. Read the Word and alot of those things will be revealed that we never realized before. God is interested in us, God is bigger than any problems we have and God will give a solution. Believe he will and keep your focus on him. Remember Larry Hall's family, his Mom passed...Pray for the hurting hearts out there...
Heavenly Father,
We come before you with a heavy heart for Larry's family. Comfort them, place your loving arms around them. Let them know of your peace that passes all understanding. Help us be alert to others who need a kind word or a hug. Help us remember when others lash out that it may be pain and heartache talking. Help us be sensitive to the needs around us. Thank you for all you do for us. Teach us to be aware when its you. Help our spirit become so in tune that it leaps when you move. in Jesus name, Amen
