Great morning! How are we faithing? I want to encourage you all today so that you are able to endure what flies at you. We have a savior on our side that cares and wants us to see beyond the present and to really comprehend our place in eternity. Eternity is not measurable, the present is. Therefore, anything that happens to us, even though it seems to last forever when it's happening, is temporal. It is but a vapor. Rest in the love of the Lord. Know that no matter what, he is ever present and his grace will see you through.
1 John 2:15-17
For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
NIV
Wow! That nails it doesn't it. We can rest in Jesus and knowing he came for us to take the pain away and to grant us freedom in him will keep us at peace within ourselves. Not getting so upset with this world but being able to roll with the changes while seeking God's will.
Hebrews 12:2-32
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
NIV
That's good advice. Smile and know that in the midst of it all, you are saved. You have a master who cares and you can go to him anytime. Remember Kristen Brazier...pray for wisdom...
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the encouraging words you give. Thank you for teaching us to see beyond our circumstances. Teach us to be obedient to your Word. Help us see you when we read. Help us be wise so we can be a light to this world. We lift Kristen to you, heal her wounded heart and help her see you. Keep us safe and well, in Jesus name, amen
