Daily Prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? I hope you had a great holiday weekend! Rest from work is necessary helps us rebuild our strength. Have trouble with a crap job sometimes? Yeah I think we all do but we need to remember this;

Colossians 3:23-25
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.
NAS

Pretty simple when you ponder that. We work for the Lord. Your talents, mind, abilities are God given. Don't miss use them by not using them. Try to be of good cheer because we know we are saved and God ultimately is our boss. When it gets overwhelming and we feel we can't bear anymore, rather than cursing or flying off the deep end, bless and pray! We all get in over our heads sometimes due to pride, enthusiasm or just plain happenstance. Don't be dismayed. God is right there regardless of the situation and he is who we are obligated to. God wants what is best and wants us to improve and strive to better ourselves.

Colossians 3:16-17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
NIV

Be encouraged by this! Our boss gives more than a paycheck. He gives us eternal life! He gives real love! He gives us comfort and wisdom. Have a great day and look up and see the God that loves YOU! Remember Isaiah, in the hospital for looks like a spider bite ... remember he Nicki and Kaleb and Kathy...

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your gift of salvation. Thank you for our talents and abilities. Help us remember they are from you. Let us not lose sight of what we are doing and help us be representative of you. Be with Isaiah and family, heal this little boy and comfort the family. Grant us wisdom that we may be a blessing to you! in Jesus name, Amen!
